Getting Started
Everything you need to get your phone up and running.
Does the phone need a landline?
No. Cura Sync phones use a mobile SIM connection, so a
traditional landline connection is not required.
What SIM card do I need?
You will need a compatible mobile SIM with an active calling
plan. We recommend activating the SIM before inserting it
into the phone.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
No. Wi-Fi is not required for normal phone calls. The phone
connects to the mobile network using the installed SIM card.
How do I set up my phone?
Visit our Getting Started page and select your Cura Sync model
to access the correct user manual and setup information.

Calls & Connectivity
Using your SIM, network connection and everyday calling.
Can I make and receive normal calls?
Yes. Once a compatible SIM is installed and connected to the
mobile network, the phone can make and receive normal calls.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
In many cases, your existing number can be transferred to a
new mobile SIM. Your chosen mobile network provider can advise
you on their number transfer process.
What happens if the signal is weak?
Call quality depends on the mobile network coverage available
at your location. Positioning the phone where reception is
strongest can help improve connectivity.
Will it work without broadband?
Yes. Broadband is not required for normal calling because the
phone uses the mobile network through its SIM card.

SOS & Support
Emergency features, backup power, manuals and assistance.
How does the SOS function work?
The SOS function can be configured with selected emergency
contacts. Please refer to the user manual for your Cura Sync
model for the correct setup instructions.
What happens during a power cut?
Cura Sync models with a backup battery can continue operating
for a limited period during a power interruption, provided
the battery is charged.
